SAFCON Group was established to provide practical, professional and legally aligned occupational health, safety, environmental, quality and training solutions to businesses across South Africa.
The company is led by Christinne van Vuuren, an experienced HSEQ consultant with more than 23 years’ experience in occupational health and safety, environmental management, quality systems, legal compliance, contractor management, risk assessments, training development and workplace compliance support.
Over the years, Christinne has worked with clients across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, fuel stations, food processing, poultry operations, workshops, panel beating, agriculture, mining-related operations, hospitality and general business environments. This broad industry exposure allows SAFCON Group to develop compliance solutions that are not only legally sound, but also practical and suitable for real working environments.
SAFCON Group assists clients with the development of safety compliance files, contractor files, legal compliance systems, risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, legal appointments, inspection registers, audit preparation, workplace training and ongoing HSEQ support.
What makes SAFCON Group different is that we do not believe in generic, copy-and-paste compliance. Every business has its own risks, operations, people, legal duties and client requirements. Our approach is to develop documentation, systems and training that can actually be used, understood and implemented in the workplace.
SAFCON Group is also a training provider offering online occupational health, safety and compliance training through the SAFCON Group Training Academy. Our training solutions are designed to support employers, employees, supervisors, contractors and safety representatives in understanding their responsibilities and improving workplace compliance.

Meet Christinne
SAFCON Group is led by Christinne van Vuuren, an experienced HSEQ Consultant and Director with more than 23 years of practical experience in occupational health and safety, environmental management, quality systems, legal compliance, training development and workplace risk management.
Christinne has built her career around helping businesses understand what legal compliance actually requires in practice. Her experience extends across a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, poultry and food processing, workshops, fuel stations, panel beating, hospitality, agriculture, contractor management and mining-related environments. This has given her a practical understanding of how different workplaces operate, what risks they face and what type of documentation and systems are needed to support real compliance.
Her approach is not based on generic paperwork or “copy and paste” templates. Christinne believes that a compliance system should be useful, understandable and relevant to the business it is created for.
A safety file, risk assessment or procedure should not only satisfy a client or inspector, but should also assist management, supervisors and employees in knowing what is expected of them and how to work safely and responsibly.

Christinne is passionate about simplifying compliance for businesses that may not have the internal time, knowledge or resources to develop these systems themselves. She understands that many business owners and managers are under pressure to meet client requirements, pass audits, satisfy legal obligations and keep operations running at the same time. Her role is to help bridge that gap by providing structured, professional and practical compliance support.
As the founder of SAFCON Group Training Academy, Christinne is also involved in the development of online training programmes designed to help employers, employees, supervisors and contractors better understand their legal duties and workplace responsibilities. Her training style is practical, clear and focused on helping learners apply what they learn in real workplace situations.
What sets Christinne apart is her combination of technical knowledge, legal understanding and hands-on industry experience. She is able to look at a business from both a compliance and operational perspective, helping clients identify not only what documents are required, but also what systems, controls and responsibilities need to be in place to make compliance meaningful.
At the heart of her work is a simple goal: to help businesses become safer, better prepared, legally aligned and more confident when dealing with audits, client requirements, Department of Employment and Labour inspections, contractor requirements and day-to-day workplace risks.
